1. Introduction
Whiteboard apps, combined with the Avocor Series One 65-inch display, can transform meetings and classrooms into interactive experiences. This guide will help you effectively use whiteboard applications, like Miro, on the Avocor Series One, enhancing productivity and engagement. Whether you’re new to whiteboard apps or looking to optimize their use, this article offers practical tips and insights.
2. How to open Miro?
Step 1 - Accessing the Main Menu
Turn on your Avocor Series One display (if not already turned on). The main menu will appear, showing options such as “Start a meeting,” “Join a meeting,” “Start a whiteboard,” “Connect device,” and “Call a phone.”
Step 2 - Starting a Whiteboard Session
Select the “Start a whiteboard” option from the main menu.
Step 3 - Choosing a Whiteboard App
A selection menu will appear with all configured whiteboard applications within Google Workspace like Jamboard, Lucidspark, Figma, and Miro. Choose the whiteboard app you want to use. In this example, we will select “Miro.”
Step 4 - Using the Whiteboard App
The selected whiteboard app will open, providing you with a blank canvas and a variety of drawing tools. Use the tools available to draw, write, or create shapes on the whiteboard. Below, different shapes and drawings are demonstrated using Miro.
Step 5 - Saving Your Work
When you are ready to save your work, click on the “Save” button in the top left corner. A dialog box will appear prompting you to enter your email address. Enter your email and click “Send now” to receive a link to your saved board. You can also scan the QR code provided to save your board using your mobile phone.
Note! To be able to save your work in Miro, you should have a Miro account linked to the email address.
